Ready for a summer activity that's fun, social, and screen-free? Join us for Mini & Me Mahjer, a beginner-friendly Mahjong experience designed for adults and children ages 8 and up to learn together - (1 rack, 2 seats maneuvering the tiles & rack together)!
Held on Tuesdays (Part I) and Thursdays (Part II) throughout Summer at The Boutique in Downtown Mesa, these interactive lessons introduce the basics of American Mahjong in a way that's easy to understand and enjoyable for all ages. We've created these classes to encourage:
- Critical Thinking Skills - Pattern recognition, decision-making, memory skills, and strategic thinking
- Confidence Building - Encouraging each other through turns & building hands
- Patience & Focus - Concentration taking turns,
- Community & Friendships - Make new friends, sparking conversation & connection
Whether you're a mom, grandma, aunt, family friend, or favorite grown-up, you'll learn side-by-side while creating special memories around the Mahjong table.
We'll cover tile recognition, gameplay fundamentals, and beginner strategies through guided instruction and hands-on practice. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready to discover why so many people are falling in love with Mahjong!

- Price: $60 Adults | $35 Children - *This is a parent & child event - both an Adult and Child seat should be purchased unless the child is 16+ or older. If we need to accommodate 3 or more kids in your party, please contact us (480) 835-2063
- Tuesdays & Thursdays throughout Summer
- Hosted at The Boutique in Downtown Mesa
- DAY 1: Learn tiles & tile recognition, rules, gameplay, and basic strategy w/ guided instruction and hands-on practice
- DAY 2: Recap & Apply what was taught
- All supplies provided - 2026 NMJL available for purchase *while supplies last! (please contact us ahead of your session to preorder so we have enough!)
